Our beautiful new Power Systems facility is 99% complete. There’s been a lot of interest in getting the chance to see the facility up close. As part of this year’s Food and Water Festival, we’d like to open the gate so our foothills neighbors can come check the place out. We’ll see the public areas of our administrative building, walk the property, see all of the fire-resistant and sustainability features, check out the warehouse and shop, and learn about the community benefits like the bus stop and the fire tank. Light refreshments will be served.

About Matt Murray
Matt Murray is a senior hydro engineer for Yuba Water Agency and served as the project manager who oversaw construction of the new Power Systems facility. Matt has been working for Yuba Water for about 4 years, serving as both a project manager and as an engineering professional on a variety of hydropower and civil engineering projects. Matt also has 15 years of experience in the private industry and at Oroville Dam with the CA Department of Water Resources, prior to joining Yuba Water.
