Farmers Appreciation Dinner

YES Charter Academy, 6:30 – 8:30 pm, Saturday, September 28

We all know that food is important, but most of our food comes from very far away. A healthy and resilient community needs vibrant local farms. We want to celebrate the heroes who have dedicated their lives to providing us with nutritious local produce.

We have guests from our region and beyond who are working in organizations to support farmers.

YES Charter Academy will host this event

Chef: Paul Ladeira

Paul’s culinary journey has taken him through some of the country’s most prestigious kitchens. He honed his skills at Michel Richard’s Citronelle, Aujourd’hui in Boston, and the iconic Chez Panisse. His talent has also led him to collaborate with culinary legends Jean-Louis Palladin and Julia Child. Today, Paul balances his time between working as a private chef and managing land with a focus on ecological restoration. This unique combination allows him to bridge the gap between sustainable food production and environmental stewardship.

Host: Tatiana Kaiser, YES Charter Academy

There will be a limited number of tickets for sale which will help fund this memorable dinner.
