Spencer has had a lifelong interest in farmstead food production. He grew up in Sonoma County with a gigantic fig tree in his goat pasture which initiated his ongoing appreciation of fresh figs. Four years ago he dove deep into his fig hobby and now has nearly 200 young fig trees with nearly as many varieties.
